MENTAL WELL-BEING AND MONEY
Snobol founder
has been interested in people's happiness, or mental well-being, throughout his life. Although he is a thorough economist, he has written a bestselling self-help book and tried to help people mentally in different ways.
Kristian noticed a long time ago that a large part of people's satisfaction with their lives depends on their financial well-being. And financial well-being, in turn, depends not so much on people's income as on their ability to put money aside.
THE START OF THE FUND
Kristian realized on his second wedding anniversary in 2013 that no matter how much money he earns, his expenses tended to keep up. However, there was no financial instrument that could reliably generate returns. Out of frustration, a partnership was founded on August 8, 2013, which began the story of Snobol. The price of one share was $1.
The goal at the very beginning was to involve partners and start systematically developing an algorithm that would profit from all kinds of crises. Namely, there were already signs that the future belonged to technology-powered investment decisions.
CALIFORNIA
While living in the affluent area of Southern California, Kristian realized that even in one of the wealthiest neighborhoods in the world, the net worth of many people is still close to zero. This gave him the impetus to develop a financial product that would help the next generations make better financial decisions. Something that would combine a fund with some consumer product.
The logical financial product to combine with a fund is of course a credit card, since many of our expenses run through it. Relating expenses to investment and investing more effectively than the benchmark have been the cornerstones of Snobol.
MOVEMENT
In 2024 Snobol team moved to Seattle area and started the movement with the intention of helping as many young people as possible become financially free through a credit card product. A large part of the product is shaping financial habits and inspiring them through role models, as well as a love of nature.
Today, the value of one share of the fund powering the card has risen from one dollar to more than $18. Let's keep the Snobol rolling!
